What a busy day! We have baked a biscuit bear, visited the library and had cake and tea whilst reading a story book with our parents / Grandparents!

We had a wonderful time when the visitor came into school to teach us all about The Great Fire of London.

We then looked at how cows are milked and was able to look at the robot who milks the cows! We ended our day by feeding the animals.
Then we went on a tractor ride and fed the donkeys with bread.
Next we went into pets corner! We fed the sheep, held the chicks and rabbits and was able stroke the owl, donkey and goats
Our trip to Smithills Farm has been amazing! We began our journey by taking a ride on the donkeys
What a wonderful day! We have been learning all about Growth mindsets. The children began by showing the difference between a fixed mindset and a growth mindset. We then designed our own brain showing that different parts of the brain carry out different roles.
The children were given the task of creating animals living in cold environments out of play dough.
Mrs Grundy and the children have designed a wonderful RE display in our classroom learning all about Creation.
These children have been working really hard with their tens and ones using the diennes.
