Problem solving and reasoning today after getting to grips with improper fractions.

Moving on to converting improper fractions to mixed numbers. We used the numicon and counters to get the grips with the models and images behind the symbols. Lots of practice before a lovely bit of problem solving on Wednesday πŸ˜πŸ˜ŠπŸ’―βœ–οΈβž—

Using APE with problem solving! We loved finding all possibilities and proving our conjectures. πŸ΅πŸ€“πŸ˜€πŸ’­
