Year 1 Miss Williams
Welcome to Year 1!
Hello and welcome to Miss Williams' amazing Year 1 Class.
We have been busy bees and we are now excited to share and show off our amazing work!
We also share our lovely class with Mrs Teasdale and Mrs Grundy who are both fantastic in helping us to learn and grow.
As part of our Health week, we have been visited by Warburtons who helped up create our own healthy sandwich. The class have had so much fun!
We have been creating our own healthy lunch box this morning. Lots of the children thought water melon would be a better snack than chocolate!
We have designed our own tribal jewellery and designed a tribal mask.
As part of our Multicultural week, Mr Mohammad wrote all of our names in Arabic.
What a fantastic trip to Formby Beach! We spent the morning following the squirrel trail, completing a treasure hunt and finally finished building sandcastles on the beach.
We've had lots of fun on our trip to Bent's Garden Centre.
Our Easter walk 27.02.17
Coming closer to Easter we have been learning about Palm Sunday.
We have been finding lots of different ways to make numbers.
What a busy World Book Day! We began with a visit to the library and finished by taking a look at all of our story boxes. Even Captain America, Iron Man and Spider Man made an appearance.

This morning we created our own dwarf from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. I think our version of Snow White and to 30 Dwarfs looks much better!
WOW! What a fantastic no pens day we had! We have designed our own peg dolls.
