  Year 2 are being detectives in class. They wear a pair of glasses when they want to use their inference skills in Guided Reading. How exciting!

  

• Waste Amnesty in Leigh

  As the month of support begins in the centre of Leigh today, volunteers from Year 4 and Year 5 stepped out into the rain to help to clear away the litter in our community. Despite the rain the children really enjoyed it and felt proud that they had helped to make the area around school a better place to be.

  Year 3 celebrated Roald Dahl Day in style today. The class are reading Fantastic Mr Fox and as you can see from the photo we had all the characters in school for the day!

  Year 3 went along to Leigh Library to create art work that will be displayed at the Canal Festival over the weekend.
