The school day starts at 8.45am with a Morning Challenge and this may be a Maths, English or Foundation Subject focus. Registration is at 9.00am. The children settle quickly into their classroom routines during the morning and get ready for their first lesson of Sounds Write. This is followed by English or Maths with Whole School Worship before playtime. Playtime starts at 10.45am and ends at 10.55am.
After playtime, the children have English or Maths and lunchtime is at 11.45am for Reception, 12pm for Key Stage 1 and 12.15pm for Key Stage 2. Lunchtime ends at 12.45pm for Key Stage 1 and 1.00pm for Key Stage 2.
After lunch, the children will enjoy Guided Reading and then continue with Science or a variety of Foundation Subject lessons. These include; RE, PSHE, Art, Design Technology, History, Geography, Music, Computing and French in Key Stage 2.
The school day finishes at 3.15pm for all children.
